 mc carthy und chris dercon "the deconstructed mimicry of hollywood"

At the opening ceremony on Mr. Dercon tried to start a discussion on where McCarthy´s work is meant to be „deconstructive“. Mr. McCarthy did not really pull this string.

The attachted thumb-movies - as we call them in germany - reflect this discussion. The ongoing reality of the parade was deconstructed into single shots and reconstructed in a semi-reality of a flip-book.
